Friday night, I had a dream.
It’s from the bedtime stories my mom used to tell me on Friday night. The story was about a rat that would come to eat the nail clippings left out and then transform into the doppelganger of the person whose nails they were, eventually taking over their life and doing everything they used to do. I used to find it terrifying when I was young, so I never left my nail clippings lying around. But now, whenever I see my nail clippings, I can't help but think how nice it would be if they could live my life for me.
