Artwork no. 4 of my personal project “That night I’ve seen it again”. The project is to visualize people’s common dream into illustrations, conveying embedded emotions, feelings, and sentiments concealed.
Wednesday night, I had a dream.
I am in a broad empty unused room. Bright, quiet, yet uncanny. Sometimes I find the silence scared me the most because my imagination runs through and I get scared by them. The room feels like I’ve been here before. Where I’ve seen it before?
The classroom?
The tutoring room?
The examination venue?
The job interview room?
Those are all the same room. The room for the dead fish to go with the flow.
Everything feels empty in the realm of emotions, which is the most terrifying emptiness of all. Emptiness is like a vast room within the heart, like an empty glass jar awaiting the paper-folded star to fill in. But, somehow, the spark to become a star has vanished, and we don't know where it went, or maybe in one of those room.
I want to wake up, desperately.
